We aim to use the land we have in Sanyati to build a multi-functional Community Centre.
The centre will enable us to reach more people in the community and also to bring in some additional income for the wider community project.
Our vision is that the centre will be free to use for the guardians/host families, orphans, vulnerable children, widows, those living with disabilities and schools that we support. Other groups, such as churches, schools, businesses and individuals could book the Centre for meetings, conferences etc. for a donation to our Trust.
Some of the facilities the Centre will offer:
A safe environment for our sponsored children (studying, homework etc.)
Providing nutritious meals to those most in need
Library/Reading Room
IT (computer and internet access)
Training and Meeting Rooms
Club Activities (children’s, widows etc.)
And much more……
The Centre would also enable us to offer employment to some members of our community support projects, to help look after the Centre, maintenance, security etc.
