We have been having quite a few early Saturday mornings going to local car boot sales, raising funds for the trip. Getting up at 5am to be there for just after 6am to set up ready to sell by 7am. As soon as you arrive you get people (normally traders) crowding around your car as you unpack, asking if you have this or that.
We have been blessed by local people donating items for us to sell, many things are just a £1 but we have also sold a few more costly items. We normally raise over £50 each time we go, not bad for a few hours standing in a field.
We have a few more to do before we head off and then we can look forward to a Saturday morning lie in !
