We have just been given an update on our Goat project in Zimbabwe. 11 of our families are currently part of the goat project. In total 22 goats were given to the families, with 8 of the families working in pairs, the other two working on their own. They were each given 1 male goat and 2 female goats to start their projects. In the year just gone 22 kids were born in total over the whole project but due to tough conditions sadly 9 of those died. The great news is this still means the project has increased by 13 goats in the first year. We hope to expand the project on our return and find ways to work with the families further.
